day 28

My little beach town is starting to feel a little relaxed. The streets are fairly empty, most businesses are closed, the beach access has been shut down and the police will stop those not wearing “cubrebocas”. Yet after staying at home most of the day for six weeks, I have noticed people reaching for more liberties.

I take an evening walk everyday and shop if necessary. I wear my mask and I encourage others to do the same. Here in Mexico we are just now seeing the virus cases rise. The coastal area where I live has been spared so far but only time will tell. Now is the time to take extra precautions and I remind my compadres to be safe.
